Skills for AI agents

Eventvisor provides an installable skill that helps AI coding agents work with Eventvisor projects and applications.

The /eventvisor skill teaches your agent to:

create events, attributes, reusable Schemas, destinations, effects, Targets, and Sets
write conditions, transforms, sampling rules, validation rules, and destination routing
add tests and matrix assertions, then lint, build, simulate, and benchmark projects
inspect a project through the Catalog and debug why an event did or did not reach a destination
integrate Eventvisor with JavaScript, React, browser, Node.js, and Java applications
use official modules, create custom modules, and work with diagnostics
migrate existing projects and applications to Eventvisor v1 safely

Installing the skill#

Run the following command from your Eventvisor project or application repository:

$ npx skills add eventvisor/eventvisor

The installer will ask which supported agents should receive the skill. These can include Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, and others.

Using the skill#

Once installed, describe what you want the agent to do. You can type /eventvisor explicitly when you want to make the intended skill clear.

Create an event#

/eventvisor create an order_completed event with an order ID, total, currency, and item count

Reuse a Schema#

/eventvisor create a reusable customer Schema and use it in the signed_up and checkout_completed events

/eventvisor route checkout events to the warehouse only when analytics consent is true

Add sampling#

/eventvisor sample debug events at 5 percent in production while keeping all of them in development

Add validation behaviour#

/eventvisor validate purchase payloads and quarantine invalid events for investigation

Generate matrix tests#

/eventvisor add matrix tests for mobile and desktop checkout events in NL and DE

Debug delivery#

/eventvisor explain why page_view is not reaching the Segment destination

Find unused definitions#

/eventvisor find unused attributes, Schemas, and destinations in this project

Work with Targets#
